Camille Claudel ustadır
Rodin ona hastadır
Rodin yalnız anılır
Kadınlar hep yastadır

Camille aşkı yaratmış
Taşta yaşam kabartmış
Rodin'in gölgesinde
Yüreğini sarartmış

Dear Birsen-

Even though I can't read Turkish I did see that this lovely photo was of a woman named Camille Claudel and did a search of her name on the web. I knew of Rodins work of course but had never heard of Camille.

Thank you for posting this photo because it moved me to find the DVD 'Camille Claudel' a very moving portrayal of this beautiful woman, her immense talent, and tragically disturbed life.

Peggy and I watched it just last night.

Thanks...

Oh Jim and Peggy, it's great to hear that I caused you to make a search about Camille Claudel.

She was one the famous fantastic sculptress but behind the shadow of Rodin, in mens world. I'm proud on behalf of women that I cause people to make a search about her. Everywhere in world you see celebrations for Rodin but none remember Camille.

I thank you.

I'll try to translate what I wrote about Camille

Camille Claudel is master
Rodin is disaster
Rodin makes a one man show
Women are in mourning

Camille created love
Reliefed life with stone
Behind Rodin's shadow
She paled her heart

That's not a good translation as a "mani" has the following conditions :

Each row syllable
The end syllable for the 4 rows should be
a
a
b
a

Thus, row 1, 2, 4 should have the same finish(voice)
Only row 3 is different.

I hope, this will give you an idea what I wrote.
